A pesar de ser un primer álbum del grupo, se nota un trabajo depurado en las obras y se empieza a ver algunas ideas que van a ir madurando durante todo el primer período de King Crimson. Cabe destacar que tanto sonido logrado como las cuestiones melódicas y rítmica eran muy novedosa en esa época.
